White House Ruin -
Canyon de Chelly National Monument
White House Ruin is the ending point of the only trail into the canyon accessible to visitors without a guide. It is a very well preserved ruin, and gets its name from part of the ruin which still has its original white washed exterior. Visitors are prevented from getting very close to the ruin by a chain link fence, but for the photographer it remains a very interesting subject, especially with the streaked cliff in which it sits.
